The TAHHO story
TAHHO is a contemporary European wall art studio based in Kyiv. We create hand-painted wallcoverings for interiors that call for something more personal than a repeating pattern.
Every design begins as an original artwork and is brought to life by our studio artists, one brushstroke at a time.
TAHHO was founded in Kyiv in 2022 by Gala Petrushyna and Tamara Zlachevska—at a moment when choosing to create was itself an act of conviction.
They brought together more than 20 years of experience in art, interiors, and custom projects. Gala understood how artwork must respond to a space; Tamara brought a distinctive artistic language and the skill to transform that vision into large-scale compositions.
Together, they created TAHHO: a studio where Ukrainian craftsmanship meets a timeless European sensibility. Today, every TAHHO wallcovering is still created in Kyiv and made for homes, designers, and projects around the world.
Co-Founder & CEO
Gala leads TAHHO’s vision and works closely with clients, architects, and interior designers around the world. From visualizing a room to selecting artwork, materials, and color, she helps shape each project around the space and the people who will live in it.
Co-Founder & Creative Director
Tamara is the artist behind TAHHO’s original designs. She leads the studio’s creative direction and oversees every stage of hand-painted production, ensuring that each composition retains the character, movement, and nuance of the original artwork.
Our Kyiv studio brings together six professionally trained artists with a deep understanding of painting, composition, color, and material.
Every wallcovering passes through their hands. Subtle variations, visible brushwork, and layers of pigment give each piece a presence that printing cannot reproduce.
01
Every piece is painted by hand. The movement of the brush and natural variations in the surface make each wallcovering genuinely individual.
02
Our designs unfold as complete artistic scenes—sometimes reaching approximately 10 × 20 feet. Each element moves naturally across the wall instead of repeating mechanically.
03
Color, scale, proportions, and composition can be thoughtfully adapted to suit an interior while preserving the spirit of the original artwork.
04
Every TAHHO piece is created in our Kyiv studio with patience, precision, and intention—then sent to interiors around the world.
